Dr. Anna Tackett - Veterinarian

Dr. Anna Tackett has always had a passion and calling to care for animals.

She was raised in Harker Heights, Texas, began volunteering at a veterinary clinic at 15 years old, and hasn't left the field since.

Dr. Tackett obtained a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. She then graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after returning to Texas A&M to complete her clinical studies. She worked as a relief veterinarian for her hometown and in the Austin area before deciding to join the Georgetown Veterinary Hospital family. Through North Carolina State University, Dr. Tackett became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner in 2021 and a Certified Small Animal Myofascial Practitioner in 2024. She also took Advanced Pain Management courses to further her knowledge on helping her patients.

Dr. Tackett is most passionate about physical rehabilitation and pain management and really enjoys helping animals live happier, healthier lives with as little pain as possible. Her non-career hobbies include working out, reading, and spending time with her husband, especially at concerts and sports events.
