Dr. Danasia Perry-Kaliati - Veterinarian

Danasia Perry-Kaliati

Dr. Perry has always had a deep love for animals.

She was raised in Killeen, Texas and since she was a child, she's wanted to become a veterinarian. After her mom surprised her with her first puppy at 3 years old, she knew she wanted her life to revolve around animals. So, she started volunteering/ shadowing at veterinary clinics at 15, and has been working hard to become a veterinarian since!

Dr. Perry attended Texas A&M University for undergraduate, where she received a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Science in 2019. After graduating, she worked in a few areas in veterinary medicine, including working as a veterinary assistant here at GVH! Then, she was accepted to the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022, and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2025. After graduating, she returned back to GVH so that she could not only work with the amazing doctors here, but start to build a new relationship with our clients and their pets!

Dr. Perry is most passionate about preventative medicine, cardiology, and neurology. Dr. Perry says, "While I love all of my patients, I also truly value working together with my clients. I strongly believe one of my main roles is to educate my clients and always be transparent, so they can feel confident in the medical decisions they make for the health of their fur baby!" When she is not at work, she hangs out with her husband, goes to OrangeTheory, reads, and tries new restaurants!

Dr. Perry can't wait to meet you!
