Dr. Vivian Tang was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Inspired by the veterinarians who mentored her throughout her journey, she developed a strong passion for supporting the bond between pets and their families and helping animals live happy, healthy lives alongside the people who love them.
Dr. Tang attended Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences in 2022. She then continued her education at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2026.
During her training, Dr. Tang developed special interests in preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. She enjoys helping pet owners make informed decisions about their pets’ health and is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that builds lasting relationships with her clients and their pets.
Dr. Tang is also passionate about mentorship and education and hopes to support future veterinary professionals while contributing to a strong, collaborative veterinary community.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking with her husky, Ghost, as well as watercolor painting, photography, and exploring new restaurants around Austin.
Dr. Tang looks forward to meeting you and your companions and being part of your pets’ care journey.
